Make "Chat with documents" more user-friendly
A
Ana P.
I use the "Chat with documents" tool a lot, and it is very time-consuming. You need to go through several steps including manually uploading the documents one-by-one in one place before you can call them in another place to start the chat.
It would be much easier to just use any file in the "Multi-AI chat" using a button the same way as we can change AI or parameters.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Currently, we have to start a new conversation if we want to add a new document. It would be nice to add more docs to an existing conversation.

Cannot use devlopement source file to upload
Romain Laneuville
As a developer your service to upload files is unsuable with code source files.
This is a terrible lack of functionnality for many LLM provider that allow the upload of source files directly instead of many copy paste into chat

Select file shown by default in MultiDoc Chat
Richard Murrills
From a UX perspective I think it would be better if the Select File option in MultiDoc chat was expanded by default. Currently we have to click on the Selected 0 files: 0 words panel and then click again on the select file list to chose files. This seems like one too many clicks. I know it's only a small thing but I think this would make the user experience more fluid.
